A practical pause before a first order

A promising product discussion is only the beginning. Before making your first Ayurvedic distribution order, turn broad interest into a small set of decisions you can explain. Which trade customers are you preparing to serve? Which exact items are under consideration? What remains unconfirmed? A short readiness review makes those gaps visible before they become assumptions in a purchase request.

If you are still deciding how to apply, start with the distributor application guide. This readiness review prepares one proposed order, with an owner beside each unanswered question.

Separate facts from plans

Record your current service area separately from proposed expansion. Describe customer types without personal details, distinguishing existing relationships from introductory conversations and hoped-for accounts.

Name the people who will check incoming goods, maintain records and follow up on discrepancies. Mark arrangements still under discussion as planned.

Make the shortlist specific

Use the product portfolio to identify the exact preparation and requested pack. Similar names do not make two formulations interchangeable. Put uncertain pack information in a question column rather than filling it from memory. Start with a shortlist you can review properly, supported by the requirements of the trade accounts you intend to serve.

Next, connect each question to a decision. For example: “The requested pack is unconfirmed, so this line is not ready for acceptance.” This is more useful than a general note saying “check products”. Keep the record with the version of the enquiry it describes.
